A blend of mid century, bohemian and organic modern design styles, this media console combines natural materials with contemporary sensibilities.
Unable to find a piece that matched my style, needs and quality standards, I decided to build one myself. The rattan doors hide the equipment while still allowing remote access when closed. Brass handles add contrast while echoing the circular design theme.
Made from solid white oak with all-dowel joinery, this piece complements my very first furniture project—a media console from 2019—but is much more advanced in its construction.
