New England Landscapes Series 2

Created in 2014, this series continues my exploration of landscapes across New England and beyond. Here, I began to play with scale—enlarging the prints and introducing color. Layer by layer, hues emerged as bold blocks or soft gradients, each pass revealing traces of what came before. Working mostly in a reductive process, I built the image upward, culminating in the depth and definition of the final black layer. One print from the series is part of the Boston Athenaeum’s Prints and Photographs of New England Collection.
