KAY PIANTE IDENTITY

Kay Piante is a Colorado based vegan lifestyle blogger with a focus on food photography, plant-based gluten-free recipes, and the lifestyle associated with it. The client requested a black and white word mark with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that tied into the plant theme. The transitional typeface Rozha One had the classic style desired as well as a playful contrast between its letters’ thick and thin strokes. The leg of the "k" and the smooth terminal strokes exemplified in the "t" and" e" play off the leaf motif. A button logo was created for social media. The minimalist aesthetics of the logo carry through the style and layout of the website.
